Its been awhile. Ok, maybe not a while but a loong while.
Haha,owh well. I'm back now. hehh. ;)

Recently sat for SPM,
eight down two more to go. Sounds quite alright huhh?
YET, the two left is like the ultimate-crazy-subject for me.
Chemistry and Biology.
Chemistry, I studied, understood, sat for exam and get shit result. hmph.=(
Biology, all long-weird-complicated scientific terms. why cant you make my life easier??

Okay okay, stop stop, lets not get carried away by my stupid problems.
I should be working my ass off studying right now, but as usual an obviously I'm not. *Hehh*

was wondering around the net and suddenly realized, It's almost end of the year.
And next year, I'm going to be 18. Its like just a blink of eyes and now here I am going-to-be legal or almost legal since I have like a super late birthdate. Sounds so cliche huhh?
But like seriously, everything seemed so yesterday. I dont wanna grow up! haha

The year before, I was merely a PMR going to higher secondary girl.
and now, I'm already getting out of high school, just in Malaysia though.
*just FYI, I'm flying to the States for another half-year of high school under a student exchange program*
A lot had happen, good ones and definitely bad ones.
I'm happy for all those good things that had happen,
it taught me to be thankful and appreciate what i have,
most important, it helped me realized how lucky am I to be able to be living such a life.
Besides, I'm glad too for all that bad that came to me.
All these bad stuff taught me to grow and let me learnt to be a better person.

A saying goes, bad days exists to help you realize how valuable a good day actually is.
Sounds darn true to me, no? ;)

Spm is in less than 50 hours time.
Obviously, I have no confidence.
Was suppose to study today,
Sadly I got attracted by an awesome app- LEME CAM
It has lots of camera and lens to be chosen, and it's all FREE!
The effects were darn cool.
And it does help make my lame pictures look at least better than it was. So, I figured I'd share some of my 'creation' here.

Questions were tough, knowledge owned were limited and teams competing were many.
Only 6 finalist out of 91 teams.

WHEE! Just received my violin exam result today!!
I got 125, which I personally think its far beyond my expectations.
Cause, like what i mentioned in a few post back, I didn't did well.
SO yea, when i received my results slip, I AM SO SURPRISED.

During violin lesson,
Teacher> Eh, Sylvia, your exam result is out, go get it.
Me> Harr?! So fast ar?? Dont want to take can ar??
Teacher> Aiyor, why? What do you think you get??
Me> Dont want la, I sure fail one.
Teacher> Yea, you Failed. Later go take the slip ah.
Me> *believed* okay

After awhile,
Teacher> Eh Sylvia! Go get your slip now. quickly!
Me> har? dont want la teacher.
Teacher> Go la! go go go.
Me> oowhh * walks slowly to the receptionist*

Receptionist> Yea?
Me> I wanna take my result slip.
Receptionist> Okay, nahh sign here.
Me> okay *signs the paper*
Regina> EH, what you get?
Me> Dont know lehh, I dont dare to see.

On the 25th of July, She left us and went off to a better place with a higher being.
I was never a close friend of her, but i think i did had had a few conversations with her. Been told that she got knocked in an accident and couldn't survive it, instantly my mind started flowing out images, I didn't wanna believe it was you, but they said it was. Think and thought for awhile, I tried to recall my memory if I ever had met you in my life, and thank god , we did. I remember seeing in malls or bus stops. Almost all the form 5s went to send you this morning, sadly I couldn't be there as there weren't anymore seats available plus I didn't wan to take up seats of some others which are closer to you compared to me.
I know you are now in a higher place looking down at all of us, may you rest in peace, and help your sister, your family, your best friends and all those who cared about you go through this hard time of theirs, for they truly are disconsolate over the lost of you.

God took you away from us, I'm sure he does has a better path for you. You had left all your friends with great memory, though your death had caused them to heartbreak, but i'm positive that time will heal the pain. So may you rest in peace my friend. You will always be an awesome georgian. =)

So, I have not update this little site of mine awhile. Life's been pretty busy lately..

okay, as you know, i went for AFS's selection camp last weekend. *wow! time really do flies, no?*
I had a post bout it, but I'm still haven't done the post. *laughsoutloud* I have been lazy, sorry! =P

Since its STILL not done, i shall just for now review bout the camp.
Before going, I actually got to know something that really got me depressed and lost all my confidence bout it.
Plus, my mum was suppose to accompany down south, she couldn't make it due to some sudden issues. So my aunt "escorted" me down instead.

Knowing all these oh-so-emotional-crap will definitely screw up myself, I took A's advice on not worrying too much and promised myself to quit thinking and just be myself and enjoy my two days in KayElle.

Indeed the camp was #$*#@$U(*#@$&*# AWESOME)(#&$*#@&$*&#@!$* and its really beyond words to describe.
It had surprise me by letting me discover the whole new sides of me that i never knew the existence of it.
It had let me learn much much more than I could imagine.
It had let me experience a good camp memory that is totally different from those just-another-boring-camp.
It had made changes in my life. It had bring tons of positive into my life that was once dim.
It had made me believe in myself more than ever!

*well i think i should stop the above list, or it really will go on and on for 3 days and 3 nights long* *laughs*

Basically the camp was real fun, packed with endless group activities. I shall not elaborate any longer bout camp here since i have another post bout it. =)

When camp ends and I once again step foot on land o'Penang, I soon realize the impact of selection camp had made to me when I was in school. Those small little things that is never the same again made me realize even better on the changes AFS had brought to me.

I was VERY anxious to get to US and crap.
But after coming back from camp, it doesnt matter anymore.
Dont get me worng, YES I DO WANNA go to US
It's just that now, the results arent the priority to me now,
instead living and enjoying my everyday to its max and just go on with whatever is my highlight everyday.
To me, if I were to be given the chance to go to US, It'll be a special bonus for me
If I wasnt chosen, I'm cool with it. Because I truly felt that by been able to go for camp,I'm already very lucky. and I'm very grateful I was given a 2nd chance to be there. Plus I did my best during the camp, so there's no more regrets in it. =)

I'm heading down to KL in an hour time, for selection camp. :)
It's gonna be one hell of a tough interview, and to be frank, I am losing all my confidence since few days back, I have no idea how but I am going to/ have to kick some asses down there. Mum said to go and enjoy, no need pressuring myself and take it as a good opportunity to gain some cool experience. I have gotten a bit better after going through all those things, it takes time to get use to it.

Note to self: please believe in yourself and ignore whatever that you heart doesn't desire. *hehh*

I'm gonna be back in 3 days time. Stay tune. Miss me. =P

Violin exam's finally over! now i can sleep without having to let the music notes haunt my dreams. Yay! =D

well, I took a french leave from school today, as I had to sit for a violin practical examination. How did my exam went? Frankly, I think I did pretty bad. Freaked out at the moment i

step in the room, my fingers were stoned *LITERALLY, not lying! * and I lost control towards it *lol, its getting so drama-ish, hehh*. and of course, it leads me to not being able to play the violin properly, my pieces were ~~HORRIBLE~~ and all these panic-ing causes my sight-reading and aural almost a failure. Now lets just pray really hard and hope I'm able to pass my examination. =X

One day, I shall get me-self a glass violin. =) *points down*

next! I just got my letter from AFS Malaysia saying I've been short listed for the next round * Endless interviews, yikes!* So, I'm gonna head down to Kay Elle this weekend, once again please pray that everything will go smoothly and alright. =)

Wish me luck! I'm so excited about it! *except the fact that I can no longer attend Bon Odori and Walk For Sight, hmph!*

晴天娃娃- Secret OST

Back from Selection Camp. One of my best weekend of 2011. =)
So, I headed down south to KL on last Friday for AFS's second interview aka Selection Camp.
Took the bus and reached at 10pm. Rushed for dinner *mind you the bus doesnt stop for dinner breaks*
Then, I called off the day, crashing one of mum's friends place in Kuchai Lama 12 midnight.

Woke up at 6am the next day and heads off to Quality Hotel City Center.
The moment i step foot into the hotel lobby,
I saw lots of faces, then I spotted a whole bunch of people sitting in a circle talking and laughing out loud like nobody's business. of course, it was THE gang, Tasha, Joyce, Deseree, Novell, Jia Le, Hakim and Fariz were all already IN the circle together with other unfamiliar faces. I was then invited to continue make more noises with them. *laughs* We were having a little ice breaking and more people joined in the crowd, thus we had to re-introduce ourselves, those early one even had to introduce themselves up to 5 times by the time for registration. *laughsoutloud*

I guess we were causing one hell of a severe sound pollution down at the lobby, therefore we were 'invited' to go up to 3rd floor for registration a lil early. The queue was really long, 118people plus some parents squeezing in a limited space. ~skip skip skip~ Parents briefing were like the usual-not-very-interesting-sessions, oh you know. ;)

Later, we had a short break for breakfast. and then, the sessions for us OFFICIALLY starts. =) All parents were shoo-ed away. LOL. We were divided to 6 groups consist of 20 people each.
Those awesome people with me were, TASHA, LISA, SYA, ALIA J, ALIA A, MANPREET, PAVEETHRA, JERN KEN, FAUZAN, DANIEL, FARIZ, AZDRULLAH, VIVIAN, LIM, and err five more that i couldn't recall, SORRY!

We were asked to introduce ourselves and then state a favorite movie, some of us who are really undecidable came up with nonsense like, owh i don't have a particular favorite movie. *laughs*
Guess what? we were then asked to formed a straight line arranging ascending by the initial of our favorite movie, some started to panic, your truly here suggested " ehh! We all simply line up, when they as, we say we ALL LOVE TRANSFORMER lahh, easy!" *haha,sorry, i born this way. LOL* but being the goodie ms SYLVIA, we all still tried to line up.
Another round of lining up, this time by birth dates.It was slightly more tough compared to the previous one. We still managed to pull off though. =D

Sunset Glow -Big Bang

I always ~~suck~~ in titles, no matter in what way,Essays, short stories, lyrics, poems...and mostly, BLOG entries. I just couldn't come up with one that I am satisfied with. Hence, to solve this little matter, i have decided to name every entries with the song I'm listening to, for today onward. *if you do realize the title of my previous entry*

anyway, today is SUNDAY! * duh!*

I love Sundays when you just sit at home to read a good book or surf the net or study *which only occurs like once in a while* ;)

I have been very very *notice how i emphasize the word very by saying it twice* busy for the past few months, attending endless events, services or gatherings and being everywhere. And finally, its time for a stop to all these, don't get me wrong, I don't go all parthay-ing, clubbing etc, instead, I were busy with Interact Club and School as well. Basically the healthy kind of thing *smiles*

back to topic, as for stopping all outings, the reason is no other than SPM, seriously I need to catch up with my studies or I'll end up humiliating myself when the results are out.

Currently, I'm reading a non-fiction, entitled TUESDAY WITH MORRIE by MITCH ALBOM.

I love Mitch's books. His words also makes me think and inspire me a lot. Whenever I read his writings, it never failed to make me feel grateful,cherish and appreciate with all the things i have. Moreover, it also inspire me to be a better person in all way. *hehh*

Okay, I'm making this sound like a book promo, better call it for a stop. =P

Dear blog,

I'm sorry for not being able to update you more often for i have been really busy, and sometimes lazy *hehh*

so anyway, I'm now here to update you. =)

Violin Exam in two days time, frankly I AM NOT CONFIDENCE on this AT ALL. Yes, i have already done my practices but it doesnt seemed to be progressing well. I am WORRIED! I'm afraid I might not pass my exam with good results like the previous time. Wish me Luck for i really do need tons of it. =X

AFS second interview letter, I really hope i do receive one with my name on * prays hard*

This is one really good opportunity for me to explore a different side of everything, and i'm sure its gonna be a hell out of fun experience for me. XD other states have already received their letters, so PLEASE PLEASE let me get mine too *of course i'll also pray for A for getting his too* =D

And owh, I didnt got chosen for NS!! I didnt really bothered to find out when are the results going to be released until I saw one of my friends posted a status on FB saying she got chosen, and at that one moment i was like Owh NO! I dont wanna be chosen!, thats when I realise deep down I have fear towards NS too! *hehh* =P

BUT! there are people telling thats for the 1st batch only, that means i still stand a chance of getting chosen for 2nd and 3rd batch. Oh God, I need your help. Please dont choose me! *laughs*

in the end of this post, i realize I'm in need of lots and lots of praying and luck. Wish me luck and pray for me, for everything to be smooth and will turn out to be like what i hope it to be. =D

You said we take things for granted, we aren't being understanding enough to you, I'm just using you for my own sake ............

but have you ever thought that just MAYBE, PERHAPS, I actually do know HOW you ACTUALLY feel?

In some aspects, we are quite similar, being a leader of something and we both know that it ain't something fun to play with, deep down we are aware of the great responsibility that was placed on our shoulders. Therefore, we work our best to make sure nothing goes wrong....OKAY STOP. I'm not gonna do this and break my on promise of not complaining/criticizing/talk bad or whatever in the Cy-world.

I'm saying that all these happened was completely your fault, we too had made mistakes. But we are merely just human, we have flaws too.

Are you aware of the pain you brought when you decided just to do things like that? We felt abandoned and betrayed, mostly the anger and disappointment.

Call me mean, heartless or even cruel. but the moment you let that happen, i knew EVERYTHING has come to its end, therefore i couldnt be bothered anymore. I dont see the needs of being upset over this, neither i see the need of trying to make it alright. cause there's nopoint doing soo.

Went jogging

@Gurney Drive in the early 8.00 o'clock in the morning...

This 'genius' here..was too smart that she forgot about her sunblock untill she reached.

In the end, she've gotta suffer the hot sun and turned darker...*So much of being a 'genius eh?*

After the jog.....We hopped to McD for breakfast then, me and Nic walked back to her place to get ready for CLHS's Interact Installation.

We reached early as we were suppose to attend a meeting....

and Nic and I thought we were late when we reached..LOL

and the fact was we were one of the earliest..

tsk tsk the Penangites bad HABIT...

we waited for almost an hour untill the meeting actually starts...

WIZARDRY was their theme for the 2010 INSTALLATION...

the event was OKAY ...*i think*

Guess what? Our school got the BEST ATTENDANCE

woots woots! =D =P

LOL........I definately had enjoy my weekend...but the FUNness has got to be pay off...

Went Pragin today along with Nicole and HY as
there's a sale at Popular...
Nic's mum dropped us there right after school ends..
And we are still having exam untill the next week..LOL
Had McD for lunch will waiting for HY..
He came after awhile..
Walked to Popular together...
When we reached..all we can see are
People all over the book store
and all those VERY LOOOOOONG queue..
Gawd..We queued for almost more than half an hour just to pay...
Bought some revision books, novels and stationaries..
After that...we walked around the mall doing nothing more
than just talked....
We pratically walked through all the levels..
In the ned, we decided to go back to McD
to just sit there...
HYtreated us Ice-Cream
yet, the both of them were complaining
bout the weird taste of that Vanilla Ice Cream...
LOL...talked and talked and Talked..
Nic left at 3.30pm
therefore..me and HY went walking around the mall
till 4.00...
Then we walked to the bus stop to wait for
the bus...

Yesshh...Result is OFFICIALLY OUT!!!

I got mine...a strike...the result did surprised me..

When Mr.Illangko announced my name..I was like "what happen???"

totally stunned and shock...

Honestly, I thought I could only manage to get like 4 A's..

This is like the BEST christmas gift I ever had..

seriously...I'm really happy and glad to have such results..

but I'll say it's just luck that helped cause

i don't think I done great during the exams..

so yeah...It's finally time to party...at least it is for awhile..

sadly, school is coming back.. =(

yes,I know my blog has not been updated for quite awhile..
so now, i'm giving you some updates...

OUr school had RIMUP yesterday..the 23rd of Oct...

went school with a Punjabi suit borrowed from Rehanna..

walked into my class to throw my bags onto my desk..

then ran to meet up with them...

and all we did for the whole morning was NOTHING..

we sat down, cam-whored, chit-chat..and thats all...

lol..lifeless huh?

later...we were given food by the school..

but we did not take the food...don't wanna waste it...

(guai huh?)

then, we went to sit in the cafeteria..

since ada air-con and not so packed with people...

then we continue our chit-chating and cam-whored..

After the break to makan...all students are supposed to go to the dewan

for I-DUNNO-WHAT-It-IS...but as usual..

we skipped...we continue sitting in the cafe...

but later then, we decided to go to the dewan..

went and saw the over packed hall stuffed with peoples..

so, we decided to sit outside of the hall..

Jessy planned to cabut to changed our outfits when its 12.00p.pm

waited for a while then rushed to the toilet..

jokes were made as usual..

then after that...we went Gurney....

Day 1

reached school late..
quickly rushed to Laman Ilmu...
meet up with them as usual..
a while later..Mr Ooi with his "Loudspeaker"
came "jemput" us to line up..
when all the form3's were in their line
according to their respective classes..
a short speech by our teachers...
then...we were sent to our exam classroom..
felt a lil nervous...so..went hugging GOOD LUCKS to
Ellie, Nic, Jessy, Erica and lots more...
and ALL Candidates wished GOOD LUCK to their freinds...
almost all of us except Nic..
felt 'kin cheong'...
and we had BM 1 & 2 for today..
the moment I got my Paper 1..
I was like SHIT!..
and more SHIT came out..when i flipped through
the question paper....
after calming down..tried slowly to answer..
it was ok after all..but the questions are kinda tough

CLHS's Installation

Yo Yo peeps..
This is a post bout CLHS's Installation..

On the 19th of Sept, went to CLHS for the Installation..

was suppose to reach at 1.30p.m

but reached at 2.oop.m..

Saw Nic and Lana standing outside of the dewan to "welcome" me..

haha..walked in and registered...

continued till where the chairs are..and went finding sits..

saw Yan Mei..talked for a while then she invited us over

to sit with her..sat awhile then..I wanted the paper Lana has..

so they teman me to take after a long time convincing?

them to walk with me..sadly..

after we return..there are people SITTING at our place..

What The Eff??

They sits as if they were there for a long time..geeshh..

so..I went asking one of the interactor in charge..

"erm...excuse me..we don't have a place to sit..how?"

then..he was like" erm..wait ah.."

and he went bringing chairs, making an extra row at the back of PFS's line..

so the three of us sat there like retards..

after a while of chattings and gossiping..

The konon nia CK model came and cari us..

talked for a while..
he was trying to convince us that he is a model..

and whatever we say or do..he have to kaitkan with

he is a model..He dont do so..blah..blahh..blahhh..

all of us wasn't paying attention on the ceremony?..

was busy talking and doing stupid stuff..
after a lil while..it was the ice-breaking time..

was supposed to be in 3 diff roups..

but i end up in the same group with Lana..with a VERY genius idea..

I was in tita? i think..then i quickly rubbed the sign off..

and drew a NEW one..which is like Lana's..

muahaha..then of course we went to the group and sit down.

after The ice-breaking..they had a game..

u are suppose to solve the Morse Code thingy..
after tekun berusaha..our gruop realises that the Morse Code given

something wrong mia..so..went cari Max..asked him..haha..in the end

still manage to solve..and I went around like an idiot asking people..

blurrie me..i went giving Nic also CK model's group..

well..lil did I know..every group has a different code to solve..

Haha..ended up kena peli oleh Lana and Nic..GRR..

I was just being kind kay??

so..decided to help them look through the codes..

and something happens and make us burst out of Laughter...

technically I was laughing like a mad ass..thanks to something I said..
later..it was the performance...

was ok...went toilet with them...

back to the hall later..then I walked here and there..

wake up at 11 in the morning..

thanks to the spammin' thingy

Lana, Me and Daryl did..

but Reg texted me 9 in the morning

which make me reply her in full

of blurness..

after showering..having my breakfast

and mum sent me to Copthorne Hotel..

reached at 1.oo afternoon chun chun..

sat down awhile and saw Reg walking towards me

talk a lil while and went off to the stage for sound check..

let Ms.Teoh tuned my violin and went to the toilet

together with Reg..

Cam Whored a while..

after that..sit at our place again..

talked and talked..

after some time..we got bored

so we started some strange topics..

and stalked a "couple"( Reg says they are couple)

this nonsense crap lasted until the ceremony officially starts

which is on 3.oop.m afternoon..

went on stage and performed..

half way playing realise my D strings went wrong

so pretended to play whenever there is a note of D strings..

few minutes later the performance ended..

kinda scary but thank god..

haha..after that..told Reg bout some "gay" stuff

and she says I'm Bad for saying that..

sat down and had our breads..were too bored though..

suddenly..something caught our attention..

then we start changing the "gay" to smart..

watched the performance..

and commented bout something with Reg..(i know i'm bad)

after the performance from the competitor..

its was the guest performance

all the performance was AWESOME..

and Reg and I officially thinks someone is COOL..haha

predicted bout the results and seriously hopes he wins..

there is this cute lil boy sitting behind us caught our attention

he is VERY fuh-ney..

he imitates MJ as he is performing on stage

with the song beat it with some dudes.

after everything..

it was the prize giving time..

prayed hard for someone to win..

and at last.. yea he WON..

Reg and I laughed on something bad...

then..it was time to go home..

went to the washroom to change our outfits..

then Reg went home after awhile..

saw my violin classmate coming to fetch his brothers with his mum..

talked to him awhile and then he went home..

basically..all the performance was awesome!

but also kinda bored as we aren't allowed to go anywhere..

bought a few exercise and revision books...

manage to get books for Yee Xian too..

walked to the food court

Fiesta Georgian was ok...
it's something like what i expected...
nothing special....
was kinda tiring and bored...
not gonna tak much about it...
friends came..
to be specific..Mel and her friend, jolise
came to support..
pics were taken but not many...
it was too crowded
went home early...

chilled awhile and went to granny's house
at 5.00p.m
found out that there is

shooting at my granny's place..

Georgian Idol is today!!!
and I'm sick since last week
flu and also sore throat
i also have prob on my voice...
neways...GI was on 12.00p.m.
was SUPER nervous when I'm in the IT room..
walked to the hall with
Farah...
get even MORE nervous..
my voice was worst!
sat there walked here and there..
and after a while...
Nic and Ee Lian..
my beloved ones came
to support me...
~aww...so sweet~
went bought water..
to prevent my throat from getting worst
after school..
the rest of them came too..
Lana, Jessy, Carmen, Chih Pei
sat and talked for awhile
finally, its my turn
walked up the stage and sing..
was pretty nervous
manage to finish the song
and hop off the stage..
stayed till 1.30p.m
to watch the rest..
Farah was the last contestant...
we watch her sing..
She is just way SO GOOD
basically...
some of them are good
but others
sang out of tune...

hahax...
after that..
Nic's mum give us a lift to Strawberry Land
our tuition centre..
walked to P.Tikus's market and
makan...
then walked to 7-11
after that back to tuition till 5..
mum came to fetch me...
and now in front of the comp

it wasn't a very good day though..
after school tumpang Carmen's van to Mum's office
i planned to take bus home...
so, went take $$$ from mum
and walked to the bus stop...
read my novel while waiting..
pay TOO MUCH attention on the book
till i miss the 104 bus home..
terpaksa take 101
and jalan back home using the shortcut
cause the bus top is SO FAR from my house
(shortcut not short also, take me 20 minutes to reach NEH)
before going home,
went 7-11
bought seaweed and twisties
both wasabi flavor..
find out myself had been addicted to wasabi lately
after 20 minutes
walking in sweats..
finally...
HOME SWEET HOME...
haha...
bath right after i dashed
into my house..
did some Maths exercise
and now on9-ing
thats all bout my day...
